Binxy 16v came round tonight and helped me fit the seat rails and start by getting the car weled up in the corect places

No they are fixed in one position
at the mo i cant decide what colour to paint the interior weather it be arden blue or a nice metalic gray like the astra btcc

Are they the alloy side mounts or steel? As I think you may have them the wrong way round?! If they are the steel sidemounts, where you bolt the seat to the mounts, I think the round holes are supposed to go to the rear, and the oval type holes are supposed to be at the front? It doesn't make too much difference, its just the way the weight is dispersed on the mount.
I think the alloy ones are slightly different. I could be wrong but thats the way I've got them in mine.

dont worry about paint old lad, scrap is fetchin a good price at the moment, they wont up the price cos it looks nice.
