Don't chew, but twist them round my fingers, rotate them or whatever.
If I'm out on a survey or whatever though I'll put one pen in my mouth whilst I write with a different colour, then realise I've got dribble all over it

guy at work's a fruit cake. He chews the fuck out of his pens till they're unrecognisable. He's started fitting bulldog clips to the end of them to stop himself.

i always have one in my mouth but don't chew it. I just snap the thing on top of the pen that is like the hook  can't explain it
