i agree, theres no use for petrol these days, unless you're talking about motorsport, and even then some diesels win, take lemans for eg.

Ive noticed that mine does drink until the car is warmed up to 90o's and the oil is heated a little...

Plus I'm doing short jouneys mainly?

I struggle to get my MPG avarage to 50.0 MPG I can manage high 40s (47 48 49 ) easy peasy ive had it to 51.4 once on a 1.5 hr drive to birmingham, concentrating as hard as i could

Thank fuck im not the only one! I get 330 mostly, then light on (=20 miles on the computer, 50 in real life)

yeh mate, isnt yours remapped though? btw that mileage is correct to 5miles iv gone down to it many times

i used to get stopig miles per gallon in a 1.7 d corsa with izuzi lump in it...but the switched to pertrol to waste some money

Corsa is a 45 litre tank,used to be able to fit 47litres in mine though.

Ibiza is 35 litre tank.

wow i wish i had that lol. my cors most i ever had was 240miles a tank !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but tht was mostly short journeys. and turned out head gasket was crapped up lol
