Yeah I knwo what you mean bout the leather but my old golfs leather was getting ruined by being used for such long journey every day

Ah well Im not car proud to worry about that, mines filthy just now & will remain filthy for a while yet. Ive done 5k miles in 4 months in mine, munches the miles lovely, proper work horse

Dont be too put off by higher mileage, mines done 92k now & never misses a beat, you'd never know the miles looking at it or to drive it.

Im gonna be doing another 10-15k over the next year then punt it, hopefully get back most of what I paid.

In mk5? Probably, I know Audi do a 170bhp diesel, there closely linked with VW.

my m8 had the petrol version got the wheels replaced under warrenty because they corroded. sorry thats all i know but you did say everything

Set of wheels are like £1200 , id love some but not prepared to spend that much on a car thats just to get me into work & back, looks ok on the cheap ones I bought that'll do

I wouldnt say its the only one worth buying, theve got a couple extras that carry a couple grand extra in the price, ultimately theres not much difference over a base GTi, except from different trim & wheels etc.

I'm talking from an view where you don't loose rediculous money.

Plus you'll have no problems shifting it for silly money either.

Yes they do a 170tdi in both the a3 and golf

TBH the 140 TDi is a better engine
