jesus christ, how can you say scouting for girls are shit when you listen to arctic monkeys Bunch of big headed tossers
to be honest, i like a load of bands, but i've yet to find a band that i like the whole album, only a few selected tracks.
ed - Boysetsfire and Atreyu are pretty cool, never heard of Proaghandi.
there not big headed at all, jsut cos they dnt wana be on the cover of smash hits or do every interview, there in it for the music not the fame!!
their albums are possible the the best weve had this decade, the sales and awards show that pretty clearly!
amazing live aswell what mroe could you want
You're shitting me aren't you? Most of the interviews im read/watched, they've pushed the fact that they "made" it on myspace with out a record label and come across as if no one can stop them.
Plus whats the deal with them spending 10 minutes tuning (aka The Tuning Song) their instruments between tracks? Worse gig i've ever been too and it was only a year ago or so - why can't they buy a few more guitars and get a rhody to keep them tuned/strings changed
red_top - +44 are so much better than Delonge's Angels & Airwaves.

i never said anything all about Oasis, but agree their bigged headed tossers as well but they've produced some good albums (a long with a load of shite). Eitherway, im not sure how you can compare a band from the britpop era with Arctic Monkeys, 12 years later. Plus there's been numerous remarks suggesting that they had help with myspace from the start (ie: marketing people etc).
And like i say, when i saw them playing live they spent majority of it tuning guitars - why? I've never seen a single band, even non-signed/amature bands, that spent so long fannying around between sets. I originally thought it couldn't get any worse when i saw Eminem, but Arctic Monkeys took the biscuit.
Anyways, back to topic before we ruin this thread
