Good option there
How many miles has it done. Seems quite cheap that? Or is that how much these things are?

It's done 75k, bit more than another one I was looking at, which was 27k, but that got sold an hour before I went to see it.
I think I got a fairly good price (if you include value of new tyres etc), but that's roughly the price of most of them, give or take a few hundred.

Although it isn't a Zetec engine (should have a Duratec) they do seem to like oil as well although the oil I checked was in a courtesy car

Yeah it's a Duratec engine. Didn't quite understand that when I opened the bonnet. How comes it's a Zetec with a Duratec engine?

Zetec is the model, i.e. Sport. Ghia is luxurious. Finesse and LX are more basic models.
Zetec is comparable to SXi I suppose.
Zetec was the name of previous engines - having said that, they all say Zetec S on them

When he answered the phone he answered with Westwood and me and my mate gestured towards each other and were fighting the laughter back when he put it down

Picked this up today, love it
Can't get used to the clutch though, there's no real clutch biting point? My Corsa was a definite biting point but in this I try and feel for it and it almost stalls, so I have to hold the revs whilst I let it out, I've had some dodgy pullaways
Guess I'll get used to it

The duratec is a wonderful engine. Quite easily one of the best, if not the best Ford engine in recent times.

Going by the Zetec badge on the back, I'd say it's a Zetec model
