Great performance for what it is and highly tunable DTUK (Sure GSi_16v vouch for it as it's mentioned in his signature) and they come with
some nice extras too, example a/c and 5-spoke alloys (far as im aware) B-)

I seriously considered one, I went looking at 2 of them, I managed to get mine at a knockdown price though so I didnt

Im not a fan of Corsa C`s apart from the 1.8 and the 1.7 SRi`s

They have dont move at higher speeds - can be cruising at 80, put your foot down and nothing happens for at least a year, its like free play in the throttle

EDIT ; By that i mean they hold 85-90 easy enough, its just if you want to accelerate nothing happens!

But for some reason i have a soft spot for them! I think they are great around town and lower speeds! My friend had one for his first car and was so nice in the SXI form!

you couldent be more wrong if you tryed it has the worst ecu on the planet and is not remapable, my dtuk tuneing box gave big gains in torque, not much in power

no, the denso ecu is as thick as pig shit

the tuneing box on my car gave 47 lbs ft more torque but only 15 bhp over standerd so i was a lil disapointed, it wouldd be a cracking engine if somebody could remap the ecu or develope a piggy back ecu for it

there still time yet tho

IMO, the 1.7DTi isn't worth having. Deano, if your gunna have a C, save up hard for the 1.7CDTi SRi.

The 1.3 is pokey up to around 50, but then I feel it gives up.

Don't settle for less than you really want. I really wanted the 130 Ibiza, not the 100 or the rare 110. I waited and saved and now have that 130, not the slow 100 that wouldn't have been what I wanted

At least I know the DTi isn't toooo bad.

The 2.0DTi Astra? Would be Astra G - so shape of the GSi, not VXR.

Aye - approx £3k-£4k for a DTi, and then that again for a CDTi

AutoTrader CDTi search - nearly all are pigs for £4k-£5k.

I don't want a particularly high mileage car - hate living with mine thinking, "is this journey the one!"
