thing is if its built properly and someone wanted a mint nova it would be worth the price, i mean if someone slowly did all the mods surely it wouldnt amount to much less the the asking price?

Cracking car, very impressive and expensive spec list. But at the end of the day, its still a nova.

will probably never get sold. I wouldnt touch it with a barge pole knowing the company that owns, and claims they built it, which is a load of crap.
Shame it doesnt run properly, last i heard from someone involved with that nova, it wouldnt even idle.

company is Racetechuk, used to be burnley car audio but apparently went bankrupt and he changed the name to racetechuk, still in same premises etc. They claim to have built it(even in tv) but alot of people think that is bullshit.

Shat! I didnt realise Burnley Car Audio went bump I dont really know anything about the way they operate, but I have nothing bad to say about the chaps that work there... met a few of them over the years & they seem sound.

Looking at the install, I wouldn't be suprised if it was a car they have at least worked on... looks like their style of installing. Suppose only the logbook & reciepts would be real proof of who built the car.

I don't understand this?

'It is currently running a six speed front wheel drive gearbox fitted with a Quaife limited slip differential however the car also features an advanced traction control system that monitors the slip across all four individual wheels and diverts the traction accordingly. This helps matters dramatically however do not be mistaken into thinking this car will be easy to drive.'

yes all the install work was done by them, thats what they do. But iv heard stories of the engine work being done by a very well known vaux specialist.

stubs- they went bust the other year. Had work done by them before and wont ever go again, the corsa came out of the workshop with the bumper ripped off sitting on the floor and they just parked it up and left it, and ontop of that, the alarm system and central locking wouldnt work properly.

lots of aftermarket traction systems use 4 wheel sensors, uses all 4 to get a speed/rpm reading of the wheels and uses the rear 2 as a control signal so its then obvious to the ecu if the fronts are spinning. It usually just limits power output or rev limit of the engine rather than being a true torque bias system accross all of the drive wheels.

I was trying to explain to my mate why this isnt worth 11k tonight.

'Aye but hes spent 50k on it'

So, its still a Nova. No matter what you do to it, it will always be a Nova, and thus not worth anything more than around 7k IMO.

Guys a nutter for trying for 11k, let alone 25k

SO Bretts car going for £8k odd wasn't realisitic???

Sorry, but that car is simply awesome. Not a pikey cut corner job. As stated, its been a bare shell up rebuild. Thers probably £1200 worth of amps in there. Custom inlet manifold etc...

Charge cooler is much better for drag racing as the charge is cooled on the line, not halfway down the strip. Thats why it makes me smile when drag wannabes fit IC only as they really need a CC.

No point in getting a cool charge halfway down the strip, you need is before you leave the line.

Thats a cracking Nova. I bet its had a good £30+k spent on it in parts, plus labour, which is the real killer. I can see at least £40k on it in total.

Will be a weapon on the road. I personnally wouldn't pay £11k for it, but someone may offer close to save them all the hassle.

It's at Burnley Car Audio, I think it cost them over £30,000 to build
Not sure if its theirs though. Still not worth 11k in my opinion, its a nova. And yes it will be hideously fast. Over 400 bhp if I remember correctly.
