i don't celelbrate it, merely because we don't get a bank holiday
anyway, st georges day is for the english nation, regardless of what nationality george actually was.
would you celebrate muslim bin laden day if it meant cheap drinks and dancing in robes?

it's all a fad tbh.
Its an excuse to drink/drink Guinness.
You also see loads of people drinking it because they think they have to but you can tell they can't stand the stuff
plenty of guiness available every night of the week in shops also.

Gutted it's a Monday this year, Sauchiehall street will still be rammed full of students in green hats no doubt.
May get a couple and wear my St Patricks day boxers to keep with tradition!

To the folk who say "why should we celebrate it?" You don't Stfu and let other people enjoy it. I'm not Irish, infact, being a Rangers fan, people will think I'm daft for celebrating it... But it's a day of boozing with a silly hat. Would be an idiot to turn it down TBH.

Topic is "Anyone heading out for this" therefore "no im not irish" seems a justified reply?

I wasn't referring to those replies Ryan. I was replying to the "Why should I?" Nobody said that everyone should? It was a simple "Who's going out?" So I feel the reply was un-necessary
