Worth it in the end as said, but my god it's the most irritating fucking thing ever.
Only good thing was you could save food in the gaps and eat it later

had mine for about a year and a half when i was 15/16
kept breaking them so had to keep going back to get them fixed
when they came off i only wore the retainer thing whilst asleep as i hate it.
my teeth are so much better now than they were before the braces but i think they have started moving again as i can feel the top teeth are more forward than the bottom ones (only about 2mm)

i just really wanted them kat, i had reallly crooked teeth so went to local orthadontist and enquired, had a xray and discussed what type of brace i needed and then decided straight away i wanted to go private and within one month i had the mould done and brackets fitted then a week later i had the wires put on, had them on for about 18 months i think... nhs wouldnt do them.. they always put it off.. ! and my sister had hers done on nhs when she was about 13 they and ruined her teeth, they took them off because they had messed it up ... she now has veneers on her top teeth and there sooo white and perfect! and thats very expensive and painful!

food gets stuck in the wire behind my bottom teeth, soo annoying, but the wire is there for the next 10 years so i have to just deal with it

went private and paid around £2000, i had the clear ones ('invisible')
paid a deposit then £100 every visit then remaining amount on last visit. then i had a retainer thing for like a year after wich i wore everydayand helped
I had mine on for 8 months when I was about 12.
As said would only need them on the top.. And wouldnt be 'overly' fussed on the clear ones or train tracks.
Would have to make sure that i made sure to wear the retainer all the time
How did u enquire about yours?
mine were the clear train tracks

Well worth looking into this.
Im "hopefully" going there in the summer to get my gap between my two front teeth sorted by getting veneers
Although its good to check this out also www.invisalign.com/
Not sure on what i want to do as im not very happy about getting my teeth grinded down for veneers so im heading to a private dentist on monday to talk more about my choices

Do they look stupidly perfect or quite decent?
and what sort of price did she pay...In poland they are doing it for around £500-£600
but would probably need to get them redone every 15years?

matt she is 27 and married...
and its still a No
Eddie, im not sure on price..i can find out and where she had them done..i think it was Bupa Hospital/dentist.
she has them really White!!! and they put them to match were your teeth go if you i know what i mean... as i said id post a pic but ....
you can have any shade..but sometimes if they are only doing like 1 or 2 teeth they do the shade to match the rest of the teeth.
and yes id say you would need to get them re done at some point..and tbh i wouldnt budget on price...id go with the very best dentist, as you can never have your original teeth back ..its for life!

Ive got a brace now. should of had one when i was younger but hated it, so got it took off. which I later regretted. so I went private and got the Clearstep braces
http://www.clearstep.co.uk/new_enquiries.htm
Im so pleased with them up to now. Cost £1200 for each set, so £2400 for up and down. Ive had it for a year now, and just clip a new brace in every 2 weeks. Not really painful, and no one ever notices, would defo recommend it

I remember that day you had them done, and you got a new cover for your phone, and we asked you where you got it from, and you couldn't say "The phone face place" without slavering everywhere
