yeah mate, me n my lil brother. Hes the panel beater...im the painter, can do abit ov panel beating...can get it to a good stage then ma bro just makes it spot on. Oh and the fibreglasser lol

Theyll be alot more pics up when its all fitted up and then the fun on the interior begins....Still unsure about plans want it to be class........Im going for the less is more theme inside

That looks shit hot mate! Looks like you've done a really good job on it! Especially in the time you've done it in. Cant wait to see it all back together and finished

aye, i was going to put standard rear lights and maybe give them a light tint, just so there darker. Progress as stopped at the mo as my fott is in pot after breaking a couple of bones playing football......

Well to cut them out, we used a proper window cutter, and for others bits cheese wire. Pretty easy to get out......windscreen is worrying incase your crack it....but did the lot real easy.

Putting them back in seem to be the problem as weve ran out of windscreen sealer....n it s pretty expensive for a few tubes.

Little update, ive put mirrors on, irmy mhw's replicas on the back, put windscreen and one of the rear windows back in aswell as the scuttle panel. I will be putting the rest of windows back in today so can take the car home...then finishing off at home e.g. interior and lowering the rear

here it is next to my car.

With its new lights, boot isnt closed properly on this pic.
here a few of front end, before i polished it, but after fitting windscreen, mirrors n scuttle


im just going to be happy when its finished and up for sale.

This as been a problem car....things allways going wrong.....or running out of materials at crucial time etc....just annoying

gutted....driving the car home.....and within minutes the front passenger side wheel had just come off. Car front end slammed into the floor, bumper under the car, arch cracked a little where joins the wing, cracked a little bit where the arch meets the skirt. Any way, found the wheel nuts and there was no damage to them at all, threads were fine. None had snapped. I think while its been outside the garage...waiting for the windows to set.....some foookin badger as losend them off. There is no way we could of left them like this as we use a snap-on impact gun. So every wheel was put on with that....tightly. My mate checked his cctv and there were some muppets hanging around my car, but my car was out of view so no proof or anything. Basically i am gutted, so suprised i didnt hit a car as when the wheel came off, car just shot off to the left and i only just missed parked cars.

Pretty gutted but as anything on a car......its repairable....plus the kit was that well fitted that all the damage is local and its not really that bad, just guna be more money, more hours and re-painting.

Gutted.....Fookin badgers

Try and get pics up later. Dont really wana see the car at the moment....Nothing but trouble

torque wrench is the ONLY way to tighten wheels nuts properly.

it only takes a drop of a few psi from a compressor to change torque from 90 ft/lb to 40 ft/lb when using an airline and impact gun.

was not done with an airline impact gun. Was done with one of the battery impact guns. Thats not really the point, they were definatley losend off by some tale.

never ever trust an impact gun of any kind, i use mien but always check wheels manually after. not worth someone gettin hurt /gettin sacked etc for the sake of 2 mins work

especially a battery powered one. we tested a snap-on one that was rated to 110 ft/lb but even with a full battery it struggled to tighten past 40 ft/lb.

we still checked them....my brother went round then all the day before with a strong arm, and they were fine, we was driving it a day before around the centre were the car was kept.
