aint updated for a while
lexmaul is now off the car and have a dbilas to go on, which will be fitted sunday. I mashed 2 of the thread on the dbilas putting the throttle body on . ended up putting a longer bolt in one and a nut on the end of it, wont see it tho as its at the back. when I get time i will be drilling out the throttle body and putting M8 taps in the dbilas. just hope the ones that are in there now are creating a good seal .
will also be picking up a 1.4 turbo engine soon..
wont be 1.4 for long - 1.6 FTW

two questions:
1.Can you fit the Dbilas to a 8v Sri engine?
2.How much do they normally go for?

(1) dbilas may have made one
(2) bout 300 depending on what engine

no, keeping it now
Engine is being sent tomorrow so will be rebuilding it over the next few months
Going to have full rebuild, oversized low comp pistions, steel rods, ARP rod bolts, got piper cams, maybe dbilas verniers, dbilas inlet and maybe a few other bits and bobs. Will get pics when its delivered

Well the engine came today but I was in the bath so didnt hear them. They are going to deliver tomorrow after I finish work.
Bad news is that money has gone down a bit with moving into my own house. Am considering selling the engine allready.
If not I will just get low comp pistons aswell as full rebuild parts and hope that comes under 800ish.
Will get pics up when I recieve it

got the engine today, got delivered to my parents house so got it in the back of my mates saxo and cracked the oil filter. Oil everywhere
One of the exhaust manifold bolts is rounded and cant really get a socket to it. any ideas on how to get it off? Will get pics tomorrow

I cant get a socket on it at. Has to be a spanner. Dont really want to start burning it just yet.
wilson- it currently has 2 head gaskets by the looks of it but i will be using low comp pistons in a 1.6 block. Not sure whats happening at the mo tho

Hammer and chissel job but got there in the end. Exhaust manifold is now off
