think i'll move out in about 2 years, currently will be paying about £1K free after the focus gets paid off each month and petrol and insurance but knowing my luck the house prices will shoot up by then
i've only just turned 20 last month though, so i'm still a young'un
i envy people who can afford houses

Yup we're getting a mortgage with a 5% deposit, we were lucky as there's very few now that are taking 5% deposits with a lower lending charge...
Here's the property http://www.mylerestates.com/property/1204161
How much?! house prices down here are so so expensive.
I'm not going to move out until I can afford to either rent (which I wouldn't mind) or mortgage. I'm not prepared to move out and end up stretching my finances so that I have to buy poverty beans and stuff.

TBH, that house is very cheap for the kind of house it is... But yes, its very cheap up here to what it is elsewhere

I was 25, and renting for 3 years and bought my first house at 28.
Your never to old to still live at home so long as your space and privacy is acknowledged.
I had better things to spend my money on when I was 20.

Moved out with a GF when is was 19. Mortgaged shared ownership property.
Rental is dead money. Your basically paying someone elses investment off for them.

Think about how cool it would be quite alot, but then think about how lucky I am to be paying fairly low rent with food cooked for me etc.
Only 19 so a long time to wait yet
