Yep i had to do it on mine because i bugger it up its like a cork screw it cut into the bolt frips it then you can unscrew it

Just phoned them, £125.00 plus VAT does this sound reasonable?

Can't you get some of that compressed tyre foam into the tyre and then drive it to a tyre place?

The 2 tyre places I contacted this morning weren't very helpful tbh, both said it would need to be chisled off but never offered to do it

I'll give them another phone and ask

Jade look for a company in the yellow pages they will come out and remove the four bolts, they did all four of mine for £40

What style locking not is it?

Is it one of those sorta round heads with 3/4 holes in the top?

couldnt you call the nut manufacturer to get a replacement? do you know where they were bought?

I've just emailed a wheel supplier who stocks the same make asking if they sell replacements. They are SWT racing alloys, awaiting reply

If they are just a funny shaped nut you can just hammer a socket bit over them and take off as normal. I have done that loads of times in the past....

Its the anti-spin ones that are more difficult.

The design of the lock nuts should allow a socket bit to be hammered over it.

i used to work at bmw and no a few people there that could help me. if you no the lockin wheel bolt number i can get one for you but i would need ur registration number, the key number is usually stamped on the service book. failing that where abouts are you i could locate a dealer in ur area that would be able to help?

bmw mini, made them especially so you couldn do it, apparently becasue they were losing money on people getting them stripped off! The gap between the bolt and the wheel has a clearance of about 1-2mm, they defo dont make it easy lol

Local tyre place had my car for a full day and couldn't get my locking wheel nut off, although it'd seized, I ended up having to drill it out, took about half an hour with decent drill bits, gotta be careful tho if you like your wheels
