Still quite high. I feel some owners of one of the consoles have voted to save face.

Own all 3 and prefer the PS3.
For one i dont have to turn the TV up nearly full volume to overcome the noise the 360 creates!, dont have to waste £100 on another wireless adaptor and membership, £20ish on rechargeable battery packs etc etc.
Major plus point is the Blu-Ray and MGS4

your views on hd-dvd were
"im going to wait and see what wins"
Surely that would have saved people money though?

I used to have both, and preferred the 360. Since them more games have come out with the ps3, so i'm not one to vote... I voted 360 to see the results though.

Mine were originally blu-ray is the better format but it's too early to call, then it moved to everybody is leaving hd-dvd so theres a good chance blu-ray will win, to thats the last publisher pulled out, it's dead.

Infact upon buying my PS3 I sold my stand alone DVD player and raised some cash.

They must be forgetting a big part of dvd being so popular, its just because everybody must have so much money and space now they'd rather have a seperate box to do a subpar job.
I would rather have it in one as space is slightly limited.

Seems like you are in a small minority Russ

dont get me wrong, i'd love a ps3, and i'd use the blu-ray. but i d/l movies more than i buy dvd's. so for just games, i'd choose 360, as its cheaper and has more selection
