do people think they look better then standard?
i did want them to match the bumper (the can did, but didnt come out the same)
but atleast now, its in the middle of the colour of the car and the bumper so it blends in i think....

Thats really really cool imo. 1.6 CVH is the way forward, my brother is considering using one in his mk1 fiesta over the zetec 2.0 he had in his old one.

hmm..
tell him to stick with the 2.0 zetec..
i wanted to zetec this but cba with the hassel..
basically had the old engine out and cleaned the whole bay, next day had the 1.6 in and running good..
i just cba with the loom etc with the zetec, but if he is botherd go for the zetec all day long..
but nothing wrong with the 1.6 cvh, i love em..

after looking at the lights again, i wasnt to sure, i mean i still liked the colour but realy did want it to match the bumper more so it looks "all in one" sort of style....
so ive just popped out and got some paint, sanded the lights down and done them again...
heres how they came out..
during..
done backs aswell.. (didnt before)
and finished product..
bare..
all fitted together..
and i done a few more bits aswell...
water cap..
screen wash cap..
think matt black looks better, but didnt think anthracite looked bad either tbh...

I prefer the standard headlights!
My mate built a mk3 escort similar to this, it was a white 1.1 bonus shell (still stickered up as one too) with a 2.0 16V zetec engine, lowered to f*ck on series 1 RS turbo alloys, stripped out too! It was bloody quick!

went and got me some bulbs for the twin lights earlier...
also fitted some bonnet raisers as they wer just laying around...
so now cold air is coming in the lights, then out the bonnet (via raisers)
not to everyones tast but hay, thats the beauty of having our own cars to modify...
