you need to drill out the 5 rivets in the back and then replace them either with rivets or nuts and bults

Finished off with the filler (P38) and primered and started the colour paint... here it is so far.

(Primer 4 coats)

(close up where smoothed)

(First spray of smoke grey)


(Thought i'd show a quick photo of the austin as its just been re-sprayed on one side so far)

Back to standard lights and smoothed back. not the best of jobs but for first time im really pleased. Also sprayed front scuttle wiper thingy and the grill to smarten up.

Cheers shaunmods, yeah it is done with spray cans. Just wanted to see how it would look and turned out well i think. I sprayed from right to left in one smooth motion andback again.

yeah the cat goes on top of all the cars. sleeps in my shelf in the boot sometimes. Fur gets everywhere!!

looks good. Was wonding if there is a break light on it? and also how early will you be able to deliver? And what do i need to do in terms for fitting? Any scratches? Cheers, and yes will most probably get it as really good price.

Oh
No idea why but i thought as hes in portsmouth which is an hour away he was going to drive down. Maybe i could meet him half way in southampton 20/30mins away for us both . Im one of those really impatient types As got a big meet on the fri/sat.
