My old man had a cav sri when I was a nipper and he had it stolen, got it back but sold it shortly after because my mum didn't like having it as she was always frightened the thiefs would return.

My uncle had his mk1 Golf stolen of his drive way but it was recovered a couple of miles along the road as it ran out of juice The badgers came back two weeks later and burnt it out up a country road though.

Mum's car got Stolen, Recovered, Written off - I got the blame; I got to go through the court process for 9 months with 28 charges brought against me including 2 counts of TWOC; 2 of driving with no insurance, 2 of driving other than in accordance with a license; 1 of leaving the scene of an accident, 1 of driving while under the influence of alcohol, etc etc

On the day of the final hearing, they dropped all but 5 charges against me and then I won the court case anyway; a witness against me ended up being the one who had actually stolen it

Was setting up a network for a lady this morning, and she told me about her son.

Last week she had a call off her son saying that his brand new golf gti had been nicked. He was hit with a baseball bat and took his keys.

Not going to be recovered in manchester at a guess.

My dad had a Mk3 Escort stolen from outside of a pub about 10 years ago. The police found it at the local gypsy site all smashed up.

That reminds me of the P1 owner who was given a severe beating/knifing for his car. Bastards.
