Nothing like a bit of forward planning.
I wouldn't pay the extra price tag attached to a P1 when you could get a blobeye or hawkeye for similar price.
Everything about them is expensive. Cunt to insure. Cheaper to insure a VXR or something else that's on similar lines.
Classics and the newage cars are very different IMO. I love the classics, but i've owned both and personally, i'd take a newer one anyway.
Classics are a bit council now.

As much as i love the look of P1's i wouldnt spend 10k plus on one tbh i would rather have a R33GTR.
I really dislike the bugeye too, much prefer the classic

That's what put me off getting another classic as a 2nd car. Altho, it'd be cheaper to just buy another engine and stick it in.

I looked on ebay as a cheap resort before deciding to get it rebuilt and STi engines were near enough twice the price of a standard WRX engine!

They're nice to have, but it doesnt take long to realise how much more money you'd have in your pocket if you had a sensible car.

heres the p1. it has a raised rev limit which is sometimes blamed for the melted pistons they had early on in life i had one brand new and at 3000 miles the engine blew itself into oblivion! i was 20 when i bought my first subaru which was a new sti 5. loved it paid lots of insurance but still loved it. then bought a p1 new and it was a different car 2 the sti 5. blew up at 3000 rebuilt it under warranty. fitted a knocklink. apexi avcr, defi's anything to watch for det and away i went. ul get one and when ur nearing 30 like me ul go for a corsa! lol p.s i always wanted a subaru but after the p1 i bought an evo .....il never run a subaru again! i also have a uk300 wrx 2001 for sale now for 6k if anyones interested.
