I ain't even gonna bother repairing it. Time to move on from corsas i think. Not the push i was thinking of tho. No idea bout the engine didn't look. Cut straight out tho thats all i remember.

tis your fault, cars parked on your side of the road you must give way.
both parties should have been travelling at a slow enough speed to take into account something coming the otherway though

Gutted for you mate that was a nice motor. I know what you mean about being punched in the chest. I think I cracked a rib in a crash as well. Went to the minor injuries place, they checked for "oxygenation", it was fine so they said go away

Yeah i have no doubt it will be a write off It was also creased above the door as well.
Today i feel like i have been stabbed in the chest. I can't look down properly and i can't look to my left properly. Recovery firm say i get a clio as a courtesy car.

Couple of questions..
Can i claim 4 months road tax back? If so how?
Will they ask me if i want anything off the car before it gets scrapped i.e wheels, exhaust or will i have to buy it back to get these parts off.
Took the stereo out last night so thats no bother.

Car tax refunds
http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/OwningAVehicle/HowToTaxYourVehicle/DG_10012526
How to apply for a refund with a tax disc
To get a refund you’ll need:
a completed form V14 ‘refund/SORN application’
the tax disc
to send the form and disc to Refund Section, DVLA, Swansea SA99 1AL
If you take your vehicle off the road, when you remove the tax disc, you’ll also need to make a SORN (Statutory Off Road Notification) on the V14 refund form, as the vehicle will no longer be taxed.
