I don't wish to disuss this further.
I'm simply saying the '''' implied you knew excatly how many corsa's I have written off, and it was just a dig as I said ''you need to push the car harder''
End of discussion

No mate, you didn't offend me in the slightest
Back on topic - to but it simple, yes. It's a brilliant bit of kit, well worth the money

Good
Ok thats it its coming off for a few test runs.
Suppose after a while it would become second nature keeping it under control, ei knowing how it reacts. Just dont go straight out hooning it.

Ross slide under the back off your car and look under the rear beam / "axle" you should see a simple round bar running underneath it held on by some rubber mounts. Thats it, so no real difference visually with or without it unless your under your car alot

the main difference is turning into tightish corners at about 30ish mph. So the likes of turning into junctions and tight corners on country roads.
Just puts the nose in better. like i said tho, on faster bends the front tends to roll and you have to overcompensate to get it thru the corner.

ross - you have a redtop on standard 1.4/1.6 suspension ........
oh dear, just get a decent fixed rate kit with correct poundage springs. Dont think an anti roll bar is going to help much due to the weight.

At slower speeds it feels more direct, under 40 mph.
At higher speeds though, it doesn't feel as safe, 80 mph+.
I now have front and rear ARB's, front upper and lower strut braces. Handleing is ok, it's the fact that only 1 damper is working out of 4, but it does handle ish.

Not that we do 80mph+ but im going to be doing alot of motorway driving soon as my gf is going to uni in a month so might keep it on and work on bushes and struts and rear arb.
Oh and why do blokes in 1.7td astra vans think thats it fun to harrass every modded corsa they see? three in a week...... jokes on them when you let them chase you for a few seconds then boot it with a little x16xe leaving them standing

I only do 80mph twice. When accelerating and when hard on the brakes

don't take the front ARB off just fit an extra one on the back, if you stiffen the back it helps reduce understeer but you get 'faster' lift off oversteer. fitting a rear ARB loads the rear tyres more whilst cornering 'rolling' so they get more grip.
I designed a McPherson strut setup for the rear of a 205 gti so know all about it.

ive got bilstein shocks and pi spring,no front arb and a whiteline rear arb.ive never had the back step out yet even when keeping with much better handling cars although i will admit cornering at high speed is a bit scary.
