Similar weight and the Noble is right wheel drive? Id say it is?

Id put money on the Noble beating the 505bhp Corsa in pretty much every discipline? Acceleration, top speed, handling and braking?

you cant compare any nova or corsa to a noble or any similar car.

Like saying a caterham would beat the noble in everything. IMHO utter shit cars.

550bhp aint all that from a 2.5 ltr or whatever they are. And i bet once rolling speckys 30-150 times spank it.

Dave should you not be sorting out your depo group buy instead of chaving up nobles?

IMHO i would rather have a caterham or a westfield than a noble M12 which imho is not much more than a poor mans super car.

As has just been pointed out both are built in peoples sheds, just novas/corsas are built to a higher spec and quality than a noble.

Driven an M12 and a 355. Both fun. M12 was more fun though.

Nah your right Rick, Id much rather have a Nova or a Corsa than a Noble.

Sticking a big daft engine in a car thats primarily designed for shopping trips and school runs doesnt make it any sort of supercar! I know all about it, I wasted my time, effort and money with that shit over 10 years ago!

You need to get out of that shed pal!!!

Noble is half the price of a ferrari so build quality wont be what you would find on a ferrari, its widely regarded as having a near perfectly balanced chassis and amazing handling.

A nova or corsa would never acheive this, ever.

No it doesnt make it a supercar your quite right..

But I would say you get much more personel satisfaction from building a car which could potentialy be just as fast for a fraction of the price.

They would never handle as good this is a known fact but most of the high powered vauxs are built for 1/4 mile action.

Put the noble against one round a track yes the noble would win.

Put the noble against Gaz's corsa at the pod and that would be a different story

Dont get me wrong matey, Im not knocking them, Im just saying they cant be compared to something like a Noble that is designed from the ground up as a mid engined supercar with right wheel drive!

Personal satisfaction - Totally agree with you, its whatever floats your boat, like I say, I did it in the past and to a certain degree I still do although these days. I dont get as much time as Id like and Im on a better wage than I was so of course Ill just buy something thats already done! I spent thousands on my old Corsa to see a true NA 200bhp and I reckon with what I spent I could have nought a Noble!!!

What does Gaz's Corsa run a 1/4 in? I still think it would struggle against a 550bhp Noble, even standard ones run sub 12's!!?
