1) poor visibilty
2) the seats dont slide forward/ back properly
3) the handle that slides the seats forward / back comes off in your hand
4) droplinks fail and rattle
5) intermittent power steering failure
6) alarm constantly going off when it rained
7) awful sounding engine
8) slower than a 1.2 8v
9) too heavy for the power of the engine
10) ugly rear lights
11) ugly front lights
12) seatbelt clips broke
13) massively over-servo'd brakes
14) over servod brakes causes scary braking when you realise they cant stop the car properly
15) abs system cuts in if you brake over a slight bump
16) The dealers were useless and gave me a car with no petrol in that actually ran out before the warning light came on
17) difficult to get 1st gear and reverse
18) noisy cabin at anything over 30 mph
19) very poor fuel economy for a small engine
20) monster truck suspension
21) very unstable if its windy
22) dashboard made from recycled milk tray boxes
23) no proper display for the radio, may have been one but it didnt work!
24) piss poor driving position
25) nothing to rest your legs against whilst driving
26) uncomfortable seats if the journey is more than 30 mins
27) no cup holders
28) 28 isnt bad.

Agree there, quoted £1700 on a 2.0l 16v 4x4 Calibra, but £3100 on a Corsa GSi 1.6.

Personally I don't like the Corsa D, it is ugly and if anything it's gonna be problematic like the C was at first.

1) poor visibilty(you have said this a couple of times, but it aint the best but aint going to stop me buying one)
2) the seats dont slide forward/ back properly (was fine for when i did as im over 6 feet tall)
3) the handle that slides the seats forward / back comes off in your hand (didnt happen to me)
4) droplinks fail and rattle (cant recall this happening)
5) intermittent power steering failure (cant recall this happening)
6) alarm constantly going off when it rained (dnt know about that)
7) awful sounding engine (its standard, didnt bother me)
8) slower than a 1.2 8v (yea found it slow, reason why i didnt get it and looking for a 1.4)
9) too heavy for the power of the engine (shall i strip it out then?)
10) ugly rear lights(think there nice)
11) ugly front lights(think there nice)
12) seatbelt clips broke(no these worked)
13) massively over-servo'd brakes(found it fine)
14) over servod brakes causes scary braking when you realise they cant stop the car properly(didnt have that problem)
15) abs system cuts in if you brake over a slight bump (strange but no)
16) The dealers were useless and gave me a car with no petrol in that actually ran out before the warning light came on(well that aint the cars fault, just the garages, and this car had a full tank)
17) difficult to get 1st gear and reverse(foudn it easy as pie)
18) noisy cabin at anything over 30 mph(na was fine, im buying a corsa not a bmw)
19) very poor fuel economy for a small engine (depends how you drive it tho)
20) monster truck suspension (sorry vauxhall dnt slam them down as standard)
21) very unstable if its windy (so a lorry, your point is?)
22) dashboard made from recycled milk tray boxes (found it nice)
23) no proper display for the radio, may have been one but it didnt work!(no this worked)
24) piss poor driving position (not my fault your short )
25) nothing to rest your legs against whilst driving(and a corsa b does?)
26) uncomfortable seats if the journey is more than 30 mins(think there nice)
27) no cup holders(did you look hard enough, there were right at me, but i dnt drive around every where with a drinks with me)
28) 28 isnt bad. (not 28, 27 infact)

Do you actually want advice? Because your mind seems to be made up

By the way the Punto & Corsa are quite similar. I suggest you drive the cars before making a decision on anything

Don't worry Rob, Dave knows everything didn't you know? Most of your points are totally fucking bollocks, I can't be arsed to go through all of them and correct you but what I will say is you drive a Corsa B and think that is a better car? Oh and a Skoda well done mate.
