I'm not sure, it could be a later design?

I'l get a picture of the inside for you later on tonight, its just hollow though really with the holes to bolt it on.

the round inlet is a pulse something or other.

the velos inlet is a great bit of kit!

do you know if they make a decent ammount of difference? the main problem is low revs, below 4k its shit tbh, but ir ead a decent inlet will sort this out?

If you have a look at the shape of the mantzel inlet compared to the aftermarket ones that are made, the aftermarket ones sit flush with the shape of the manifold and its directly ported to the ports. The mantzel ones show a step from the throttle body to the ports, which possibly causes some restriction.

Each to there own though if you havent seen it you dont know And tbh spending 150 on something to create more power than 250! I know what id choose! Flame has manufactured some brilliant kits, so dont mock it till you tried it
