I think at least a decent sized portion of Ronaldo's form last year can be attributed to the form of Evra.

Evra for me, just.
Clichy is better going forward IMO (esp for his age) but a LB is still a defender at the end of the day and Evra is a more complete defender.
Ashley Cole is a pale pathetic version of his Arsenal sense, the 04/05 season @ Arsenal was his last decent one... 05/06 he got done in with injuries LT but did show some form before we got rid, at Chelsea hes nowhere near the same player

I'll agree with Matthew here, Evra is fucking awful at shooting, although i disagree with his final ball, he can cross a ball and gets a fair few assists, he just needs to always look for a pass, because if he even attempts to shoot, that's the end of the attack
I've seen a bit of Clichy, and as much as i think he is a very good player, i think evra has him in every department, he's more skillful, better defending, and also better going forwards
One thing you cannot question about Clichy is the badger never, ever stops running
