Sounds familiar don't miss fishing round in 4 day old sink water for a tea spoon and the least minging cup to make a cuppa tea

I can do pretty much everything but since moving back in with my mum I hardly do anything.
Had a blitz while she was away at the weekend and tidied/cleaned the house. Don't have any motivation to do anything at home though as 5 minutes after I've done something my brother will come and mess it all up again

My girlfriend is the worst she doesn't know how to iron, use the washing machine, cook (barely anyway) her mum won't let anyone do anything. She gets her to put the dry washing up away about once a week. She's gonna get a shock when she moves out

i cook ( ) clean, do minimal washing, only iron when i need to. Parents pay ironing service
We have a dishwasher but i can operate a tap cloth and fairy liquid.
Lucky to have all the rest of the house pretty much maintained. I run around in the car take the folks out pick them up etc. So we all muck in together its a family effort

Sounds just like my girlfriend. The only things she can make is a pasta bake or a chip butty. Guess I'll be doing the cooking then

I actually enjoy Ironing
I hate doing just one piece here or there but getting a pile of ironing and doing it whilst watching a film is quite therapeutic.
I lived on my own for 4 years so did all my own housework, cleaning, ironing, washing etc and I've always enjoyed cooking.
As for DIY I did this:

I can cook but i prefer my old dears, doesn't everyone?
I iron anything that needs ironed, i think my old dear does my work stuff...couldn't really tell you tbh.
Only thing i have trouble with is the washing machine and i have no idea why, i broke the stupid thing in a fit of rage last time they were away on holiday.

My mum can cook some stuff but she's a bit obsessed that stuff might not be cooked hence killing any nice cut of meat she's just paid a load of money for I tend to cook stuff like that.

I can't cook chicken in a nice way, since I had Campylobacter (google it) last year from chicken i cremate mine to oblivion to make sure its cooked, not good!
But i'm the same with cookin, i could cook a meal and then get my mum/gf to cook the same one and use same ingredients and i would prefer theres 500x more than my own, not sure why

Intumescent paint contractor, in the fireprotection/construction game.
Basically we send subbies out to spray new steel frames, buildings etc.... very enjoyable to do, I price jobs up and give subbies a price to do the work, make some profit.
