at least you know its still driveable, my old one hasn't had insurance since i sold it don't know/care what they're doing to it

piston rings not here either way ill take the engine out the eg and get it stripped down ready for next weekend

rather than keeping the b16 head, why not change cams to type R ones and a aftermarket inlet on the b18 head? would it not flow better?

the b16 head flows better than the b18 even with different inlets, plus the engines coming apart for piston rings anyhow. plus ill be adding b18 cams/inlet/tb to the b16 head

shafts oot(ITR import written on them), how the car stands (off to collect an engine crane tonight )

if i can remember correctly endyne or some other big company was asked what head they prefered better/made more power then it was fully machined (i.e b18c4 or b16 head, both P&P, valve job, etc etc) and they said both were pretty much identical but i believe they stated that they would still take b16 as it made a tad more power. then again if engines coming apart you might aswell build it makes no difference

We all know once you start playing, things change.

edit: yes the b16 head does flow a tad more than the b18c4 but nothing too much.(fully worked)

Its took about 5 pages of people asking what engines going where when he explained it he is putting the b16a2 in that is in his blue EK in to the silver EG and the b18c4 from the Silver EG is going in to the blue EK

engine out




engine in the stand getting stripped down


lsd box


shiny new exedy clutch


Integra shafts


and some other goodies



gonna get the block and gearbox all cleaned up this week and the head stripped down ready for next weekend
