looked at them before. Apparently really bad on fuel, and tax is gonna cost a bomb. Plus heard the engines are shit?

You'll pick up a mint low mileage Leon Cupra R for £8k now
My mates just bought a mint 04 plate one with 27k miles from the local SEAT dealers from exactly £8k

RX8's drink petrol & oil. I quite like them though, for the money. A guy I work with just got a trade in price of 4 grand for an 04 plate one owned from new....ouch!!

im in same situation maybe spend a couple more k, but i dnt know whether to save money and drive my 1.poo until it breaks (ive had for nrly 6 yrs) cars i have been looking at:
Civic Type R - always wanted 1, but hardly any fancy toys and bad image, supposedly a good drivers car.
Golf Mk5 Gti - same league as CTR more up market, more grown up?
Astra VXR - cant get away from that boy racer image, attract loadsa attention
BMW 330ci m sport - classy quick and comfortable but again im young, should i be driving one of these? lol

My dilema is I wanted (have for a while) an M3 coupe E46, but to get one for 13-14k would be old & high miles (potential money pit?) I then saw you can get 12 month old Focus ST-3's for 13k, nice car with warrenty etc should last me a while. Then I started to think well the RS comes out next year, I could wait for that & save few more £'s & take a bit of finance............then I started thinking for 25k I could get aolt better car than a ford! M3....gone full circle!!
Im doing NOTHING until after New Year now anyway thats for sure, see how things are then & what ideas are in my head!!
