my brothers got a mint rallie like you say its in the blue color with white oz's, it is surprisingly quick, wasted my mates gsi and there both standard apart from cat back exhausts
personaly i've drove both and the rallies got a wierd feel to it, i dont like the drive, as in the corsa just feels right but then the rallie is shit hot on cornering anda good bit quicker than the gsi
my sri 16v kept up with the rallie till about 4k in second hahahahah its a x14xe by the way then he just pulled and pulled and it was gone

So yes they seem the best buy over the corsa. But wat are the downside of thease. I do like my corsa and its a very quick car for a 17 year old i must say. So i may jst keep the corsa for a few months..

Its a x16xe with a 4-2-1 manifold de-cat and full v-sport exhaust.

Personally i'd take the S2 rallye for sure. Cheap raw fun and will suprise many a car on the road.
My GTi hasn't given me any problems... yet *touches wood*.

Ye i do like the corsa.but the s2 dose look special and they do sound nice. I also in the future may be trying track use. So as you say the 106 would be far superiour to the corsa out on track.

In a village between Mold/Wrexham.
I'd rather a 16v white s2 rallye I think, only to use it on track....BUT I use my car everyday and love it. Depends what you want to use it for. GTi is more refined, leather seats/ABS etc.
Edit - VTS/GTi same dog

An S1 16v would be more of a sleeper but either will be lots of fun.
Do it, do it now.
