Your wrong IMO.

Its nothing like comparing a Diesel Evo to a Turbo, the 335 is a 3.0ltr twin turbo diesel with 286bhp and 580Nm of torque (same amount of torque as a 996 Turbo) so by no means is it slow, and with a Remap as i said earlier your looking at 340+BHP.

IMO the 335D drives alot better than the M3.. Smoother, quieter etc.

And before anybody jumps the gun, Yes i have Driven both M3 and 335D. You would be very supprised with the 335, as standard its not too far off an M3.

tbh, if you could afford a decent 335d that hasn't already been to the moon and back, you might be able to afford an E46 M3 CS, not the CSL, but CS

Typical

Was it mtech suspension james?
330 will be way more refined, thats the whole point of an m3 tho....

Yes it has noisy transmission and intrusive cabin noise, and its crashy ride.. But if i wanted to waft about numb from the driving experience i would have bought an sclass.

Yeahh, it was Mtech.

Jambo.. http://www.klangford.com/gallery.asp

My dad used to have the Supersprint Liteweight backbox, Supersprint race Cats and Supersprint Xpipe. Had the GruppeM CAI too, and the sound of it was unreal. Far too loud for a daily driver though.

Edit: Sound clip of the same setup

why not a 335i i've been in a e90 335i coupe and an e46 m3, I think the 335i is faster than the m3 and does get better MPG as well.

I fail to beleive that the 335 is anywhere near of a drivers car as an M3. Even with mtech suspension, wil the weight distribution be perfect? The turn in? THe diff?

Im not doubting its ability, i just cant see how it can be better than an M division car in terms of driver benefit.

your right the handling of the 335's are no where near as good as the m3 but weight distribution on pretty much all BMW's are very near 50/50 my 323i is 51% at the front i think. If it's a fast car you want 335i, if it's a very well handling drivers car M3.
