Yes i can back it up - I've been in and driven 2 cliosports with gaz coilovers and there crashy belond belief, my mate as a rs2000 with gaz coilovers, again crashy beyond belief, hes also had to send one front shock and one rear shock back for leaking after doing less than 1000 miles.

They also seem incapable of making decent spring rates to suit there shocks.

V-sport loved them because they sold them... ofcourse there going to rate them.

They are good for show poneys, go nice and low etc but if you have a decent handling car to start with and you then fit some Gaz i doubt youd notice a improvement.

All i can see is there rated on here cause they go super lower and there adjustable - and thats the same across most boards

Oh and i was going to buy some until i realised after driving those two clios and then one on FKs and one on H&Rs how poor they were.

FK's were better and there not the best

ive got some gaz stuff and i think its pretty shyt tbh .. mine are corsa ones but they wont lower more than about 30mm . and the rear springs fell out when you jacked the back up .. but they were just the cheap gaz ones ie similar to what most ppl on here have .. prefer my old rusty spax adjustables tbh . . you get what you pay for .. buy expensive gaz and im sure they will be as good as any other

But its my opinion of about 20 miles worth of driving down B roads where they skip all over the place etc

And even the owners say there pretty piss poor

thing is most people just stick them on and whack them to hardest etc. No two drivers are going to like the same set up. Buh i rate them. Also remember they can be much improved by changing spring rates.

i had the choice of spring rates based on the weight of the car, and what it would be used for

exactly most people assume they fit coil overs and thats the problem solved. Far from it. They're just a tiny piece of the puzzle
