Been pissing about with the £40 corsa this week,

The crankshaft key has slipped out of line so thats tonights job, sorting it out.

Astra has been assessed and is booked in to get repaired next week all going well,

Really want to get the corsa running before it goes in but we'll see

Also on the lookout for conversion mounts for the redtop,

Is this all I will need for a sport?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/corsa-b-2-0-conversion-mount-set-type-A_W0QQitemZ310083290476QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item310083290476&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1701|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318

I will sort out tie bar spacers and exhaust myself,

But iirc this is all the mounts I'll need?

My mate bought that and still has the rubber he said the standard one fitted?

So if my standard one doesnt fit I could nab his as its the only difference in those kits?

If its a genuine sport then it should have a rubber that mounts inside the chasis leg so won't fit with the XE.

Ok got set in about this today

The x16xe is in poor condition service wise

The belt is nearly ready to snap, it is so stretched that it's putting the timing out hence my previous running problems

I am going to fire a timing belt and rollers on and run it for a week then remove the engine.

I have sold the cav with the redtop in it as it was no use

152k miles and a bad taping from start up

I have ££ to go looking for another though, or maybe an LET if chrisboom hadn't of sold his

I have sold the corsa

Well swapped it, I was made an offer I couldn't refuse.

It was swapped for a mk4 astra 1800 sprt, with 12 months MOT.

So that'll do the girlfriend for running around in,

My astra is going in for repair on the 30th along with a few other bits getting done, And I fitted some different wheels for a while as I was bored.

Still wanting to sort out a corsa project though as I have this inlet manifold here doing nothing so....

I'm off to look at a white T reg 1600 sport tomorrow. MOT'd this time but needing slight mechanical work so we'll see how this one goes...
