You need to get a grip then.

There is no excuse for that, there are always jobs available, just maybe not ones you want to do.

Pisses me off when people say there are NO jobs avail.

My mrs lost her job within a 2weeks she was employed and has sinced moved on again........

She was running her dads buttie vans (4 vans) - the shop when under so...
Then she got into Currys as a shop assistant....
Now she has just got the job as Store Manager a the local JD sports

In most cases they dont wanna do shit jobs so dont apply. A JOB IS A JOB!

credit crunch
Yup, the whole reason I lost mine.

I didn't want to be on the dole, I put it off for a couple of weeks, but in the end it came to it. Don't you think for a second that I haven't had interviews, either.

Yeah I have a job, but if I did'nt would I claim the dole. Hell yeah. Getting a job is not always easy, especially in todays economic climate.

Pretty much every job I've ever had I've not wanted to do.
I've always worked for the money.

There is no way on earth you been 'looking' for a job for three years.

And this credit crunch thing is pissing me off as a excuses, Brother came back from a year in Australia on the Thursday and had a job on the Monday.

Shit job yes, and he did have to cold call, and visit loads of places just asking around for two days but it paid off,

How the fuck can you live off £45 a week?

I spend that in water, gas and electricity and that is no word of a lie!

when i lost my last job i couldnt get a crap job like maccy d's. they turned me down believe it or not. all employment agencies didnt want to know as i was born in this country. where i live its actually very hard to get a job. even a shit one. i tried to get anything and couldnt.

its really really easy for people to say its easy to get a job, as they sit there smugly knowing they have employment. if you've never had to waste hours a day getting nowhere looking for a job, even a crap job, then dont say its easy. you have no idea.

Until you need the dentist, or have to start paying for prescriptions.Your 45 quid would run out whereas theirs wouldn't.

Bar work at night is a good one to look for if you have your own transport.
THE best way to get into paid work though is by volunteering, opens loads of doors. I volunteered at a charity that also had a trading arm so they hooked me up with a part time job to help me bring in some money whilst helping them.

I have no problem with people claiming the dole.

As a stop gap, I mean I do not expect people to be laid off on the friday and start a new job on Monday.

But a period of say a month or six weeks max, while they go for job interviews etc.

The dole is a really good system, shame there are so many scrotes talking the piss out of it. The amount of people claiming incapacity benefit in the area I work in is shocking. One lady really angered me, bombing around on one of those scooters yet in the summer was able to dig 2 days none stop at an archeological dig, felt like kicking her in the cunt.
