Does look good btw but I think he should have got another Mk1 RS as a runaround to compliment the Mk2 once it arrives.

I totally aggree, but he thinks this is a more sensible option, plus he doesn't feel like he has to pamper this car in the same way he would with another RS.

Possibly, might have trouble getting 'runabout' into his head having already owned one cherished example!!

I'm not a huge fan of it either. Its a bit of a grandad mobile, but it was cheap, and its reliable. Perfect transport for when I was at college.
Its not too slow though. Its a 2.0 vtec with about 145bhp.
Anyway the thread isn't about the honda, i only posted it cos you requested a picture.

Sure. This is my brothers pride and joy. Its a totally standard WR1.
The Colin McRae stickers are no longer on the rear window.
