Surely this will back fire when you come to buy a house, I use 1 credit card daily and pay it off every month keep it paid up and never late that way I have some good credit history. Where as if you want a house they wont know what your history is like as u have never had any........
I meant at the present time and past. I'll obviously do something in the future to get some good credit history. I just meant at the moment and past i've never bought something with money i haven't got at the time like with a loan or credit card.

i've never been able to distinguish what is debt and what isn't. ie, my mortgage and finance on my car is debt but not like bad debt if that makes sense?

I would class the finance on the car as debt regardless of whether it's bad or not.
However probably not so much the mortgage.

am a procurement manager for a retail bank..... and also learnt how to manage money and spend wisely. gone are the days of drowning champers in clubs and partying from thursday to sunday....
that said my quality of life has probably changed for the better i just enjoy doing different things now.
Fair play mate, must admit i'm growing out of the partying for 4 days on the trot. You know it's time to call it a day when you start waking up in the morning feeling guilty for how much you've spent. Just concentrating on getting my Golf Handicap down this year, with a few at the 19th Hole afterwards with the lads.

taking into account Mortgage I'm jointly liabel for £110,000 so for arguments sake I owe £55,000 + about £10,000 student loan so about £65,000.
I don't have any other debt, credit cards, loans, bank of mum and dad or otherwise so apart from the big two- I don't have any

Over draft, currently at 900, could go beserk + go up to 2900 though as thats availible at any time...
No money to parents / Grandparents.

just thinkin back to my comment that I owe £50 a month for another year or so on the sofa, same could be said on a lot of things that I pay in installments....
house insurance
car insurance
council tax
water rates
dont class these as debt although they are all payable and owed to the relevant people
