good idea mate and you clearly know your stuff.

Just be careful with how the engines are sourced. Good luck!

Sounds a good idea and if you can get a quick turnaround then it's an easy way to make cash. The only thing I'd be wary of is that if the engine is a dud, it might come back onto you? Even though you haven't sourced the engine....only thing I can see going wrong

Hence not wanting to source the engine, its not worth the agro if it blows up.

Fair play, aslong as there is an agreement that the parts that concern the conversion go faulty it could be either parties fault, but if it's engine failure that's not your issue

So whats involved in the 1.8 conversion?
do you use the same mounts and shafts etc? also are some of the 1.8 engines fly by?

A list of cars that you could get an engine from would be good too

Same shafts and mounts (unless a/c).. The engine is from a 1999-2001 Vectra B 1.8 or pre 2001 Astra G 1.8 .

The X18XE1 is a small block engine and X18XE is bog block.

The Corsa C Sri is a fly-by-wire so a little trickier to install.

And Dbilas does to a turbo kit yeah.
