Sort of. V-Tech kicks in a 5k and pulls all the way round to the limiter. Now V-Tech and a Turbo together now thats a different story

no it isnt. what a load of bollocks.

Why is it ?

becuase it just is. your just making stuff up.

Explain

Like I just said a minute ago... All it is, is an aggressive cam. It's nowhere near as potent as a turbo. It's like sticking a set of cams and mapping on your corsa.

vtec is vastly over rated and to suggest its like a turbo shows you havent even remotely got a clue about the words you are typing into your keyboard.

vtec and a turbo is a different story yes, because it actually is a turbo. also to get the most from turbo engines with vtec, its better to remove vtec, fit turbo cams that dont go into vtec, map it so it has no vtec etc. so yes, thats a totally different story as its just a 4 cylinder 16v with a turbo and no vtec. ones that have vtec and a turbo seem to have major problems and never run right, and never actually make good power. owners claim they make 700 whp at 6psi. never in a million years. maybe 30bhp over std thats it. ive seen many of them over the years waffle the bullshit because its a honda with vtec and a turbo. wow. id rather it was an n/a honda. theyre a good engine.

I didnt say it was 'like' a turbo. Read the thread. And as far as my explanation about V-Tec that is my interpretation.

Cheers mate...thats good bit of info to know about taking the v-tec off before putting a turbo on, makes sense when you think about it, im still learning when it comes to the v-tec, but I would definately say its nothing like a turbo otherwise there would be no need to turbo!

he made a comment saying it was "like something" then the Honda expert Nic Barnes who actually does not own a honda but is of course an expert as "his mates" have some or you have "drove a few before" , prolly the same mates which do the work on your car actually.

so what, because you think its a "homo's car" it means your gay if you drive one? does that mean that your a "chav" because u drive a corsa?

your replies are quite silly really sometimes.

get over yourself, i have other people on MSN to talk to. But once again, i think maybe you need to smoke a bit more green, or have a few more pies from Greggs and relax a little.

if you get offended by anything said in this thread then you really are too sensitive. Funnily enough me posting in the same forum as you is not stalking, i didnt know it was illegal for me to post in the same forum as you.

But then again Nic Barnes you know best and your right and everyone else is wrong as always.
