Eagle F1's everytime pal. Had a set fitted to a set of Allesio 2's on my Cav and they are brilliant in the dry and wet.
There are a number of F1 patterns though and mine were the GSD3's.
Al ot of it depends, as previously mentioned by fellow members, about how and when and the future purpose of your car.
Do you take it out regularly in the wet/rain?
Living in England that is a big possibility so my recommendation, even if you come into money in the future for the 888's is stick to performance road rubber and leave the 50/50 split of track/road rubber for track days.
At the end of the day 888's were designed for the performance on a track day but still allow you to drive home with legal tyres.
The other factor to think about is track surfaces that the 888's were designed for and the constantly differing surfaces on public roads.
Hope it helps

R888's would've been 195/50/16 as they don't do a 45 profile to my knowledge.

£200 what the hell are they lol.

understeer was never an issue with my r888s - just crazy oversteer, even in a straight line.

Go round a bend at over 30 mph and the back end would just let go over a puddle

Im just about to fit a set of Hankook RS2 tyres to my integra and they have amazing reviews, they are half way between eagle f1's and R888 and only £75 a tyre for 16"

Cheers MJ

if you thought a car gripped well, its nothing compared to r888's

problem being as you say with 16's, well mine catch the arches slightly as the side wall is square unlike normal tyres. even in a 195 theyre wider than a normal 195. ideally they would be better on 15's as 16's cause me issues and cost more.

theyre absolutely cracking tyres, and anyone saying differenlty hasnt ever really needed them before.

and comments from idiots saying they look cool, well thats just the stupidest thing ive ever heard.

oh, and i paid 79 quid for my r888's each/
