i tried this!!!
totally failed lol
but then i was trying to get a 165/50 on a 8j rim... lol
we thought it would be easy so gave it a shot, but it's only possible if the rim has a 'lip' that the tyre can jump easily to seal.
it did expand but wouldn't seal properly.
in the end i got 175/45s fitted at style dynamix in west london. lol

can get them balanced once it's on...
the reason i tried doing it was because every tyre place by me wouldn't even do a mild stretch let alone something slightly crazy...
jimmy2.1 did this on this cinq, was very successful

totally depends on the tyre size.
you can break the bead on an 80 profile tyre with one foot, it's the low profile ones you'll struggle with
