Aye, cos you can tell he's absolutely devestated about having less silverware than Keane.

If I had the chance to take playing in the number 9 top for Newcastle, my home town club, becoming the clubs all time top scorer, I'd take it EVERY SINGLE TIME over playing for Man Yoo and getting a couple medals and trophies.

Bitter spastics sitting in Old Trafford who still sing "Cheer up Alan Shearer" still amuses me, probably as it does King Al even more - trophies are irrelvant for a guy who chose to play for his hometown club, and put goals in the back of the net rather than win some trophies.

Newcastle also paid him more money that United offered, maybe that will compensate for the lack of trophies.

Although I agree with what you say, id sooner play for the club I supported and TRY win something than go to somwhere else simply to win a few medals. At least he can look back and say he did all he could to bring trophies to Newcastle.

Hes still a massive cunt though.

What's with all the Shearer flamage? He just did what he wanted to rather than do what the media wanted him to do, I don't see a problem there, and Keane a good manager? Are you fucking serious? He got a lot of praise at Sunderland for some reason for being the face of Niall Quinn's tactics, signings, press conference scripts and just generally his dogsbody.
