Understood, although when you consider the amp I sold was £400 18 months ago, and it went for £130, it's hard to ignore

Check out PeterTyson.co.uk and RicherSounds.com

seems a semi decent onkyo is only £200!

Could use existing speakers mind.

what model, you dont want anything lower than a 606/605 if you cand find one, i got my 606 from peter tyson and it was a right bargin. If your looking for HD audio then those sepakers are going to be very poor, if your looking for something that is just capable of playing hd audio and playing only then keep ther speakers

LG HT953TV

/\ thinking of getting that kit, mathes the tv, looks great and is all i need.

Im not that fussed about HD audio, i would like it but cant really afford to splash out. I want something small and stylish that will play everything.

The point is my panasonic SAPT460 doesnt convert DTS HD to DTs, it just leaves the sound blank.
So i need a new surround sound system, ideally one with 2x HDMI ports.

That fits the bill.

The onkyo amp was:

That one.

But if i did that i would need speakers etc. Would work out alot more?

LG is simple, easy and small with everything i need.

Id like HD audio but its only a bedroom setup and i cant afford a massive system

I also use my ipod with my current one, can control with remote etc.

LG i posted does same...

trouble with all these kits is the amps are bloody enormous! I have decided im re-decorating and want to have a small system. But want it to play everything.

Im thinking the lg kit i posted is too big speaker wise.
