Congrats fella, me and my gf will be engaged this year at somepoint, not that she knows it 
Weve been together for 2 yrs and 8 months.
One question, how do you do it? Down on one knee style, wil you be engaged to me? or just slap a ring in front of her........ then you might become married when you only wanted engagement

Just short of 3 years later - we will be married.
Just because your engaged doesnt mean you have to be married... an engagement can take as long or as little as you like...

I think she meant you dont have to be married straight after kind of thing.
I know if i got engaged now the wedding wouldnt be for about 4/5 years at the earliest as the wedding becky wants is going to cost rather alot plus she will still be at uni for another 2/3 years

Thanks Very much guys we are very happy, Ak i have the picture proof that you were drinking it we're hoping to get married next July at some point still looking into where!. The stress begins haha. I asked the parents permission first then made the proposal at a spot looking over our home stonehaven looking down on the harbour!.

i'm pretty sure now that it will be July!. We have a couple of places in mind but need to go look at them and discuss things!. We have a budget so should be manageable . Lisa will be a nightmare up to the day i'm already aware of this
