Merrill Lynch - It's an internal role

EDIT: Currently based in their Surrey office - will be working from their EMEA head office in the city.

My ticket is £73 a month and I live about 10 miles from the centre of London. That doesn't include tubes etc but I am lucky in that I work 5 mins from my station so no need to get the tube.

Thats still £870 odd a year just to get to work.

£2700 on a peice of paper

See you could buy a bike, and pay it off in 2 years, and still ahve a bike at the end of it. Instead of 2 yearly train tickets..

Willay, your company pays your, fuck me you must be loaded

If my company paid my travel and car parking I would be over £350 a month better off.

dont forget if your train is late you can get money back if its over 30 mins

Eg National Express give you £3 if your train is 30 mins late or £6 if its an hour late

Sometimes I don't even get a seat too!

Pisses me off. Can't wait to move back to the north where it's not a battle just to get to work.
