The Shield
Entourage
The Wire
Out of all those I'd watch The Shield. Amazing programme.

I still watch it on E4. Still makes me laugh. Got all 10 Seasons on DVD too. Takes up an entire shelf

I'm starting 24 soon.
That is supposed to be better than Heroes and Prison Break.
House is also supposed to be good. I'll prob do that after 24

You've said Heroes and Dexter, some of these have been said I'm sure but I'd recommend:
US:
Bones
House
24
Dollhouse
Numb3rs
Supernatural - Love it
UK:
Life on Mars / Ashes to Ashes
Red Dwarf
Doctor Who
Cracker
Spooks
Should keep you going

24 imo is better than all the other series i've watched, by a good way too
I thought prison break was excellent, but 24 is in a different league, and super addictive with all the episodes ending at points that make you want to watch the next one

House, as far as i can see, is just some super doctor, who walks with a limp and is a wanker.
Who spends the entire episodes letting the other doctors struggle, then wonders in and sorts the patient out

I'd say The Wire is probably the best series I've watched in a while
