My dad was one, but stopped going to meetings (or whatever it is they do) many, many, many years ago.

Been invited, as has my father, but never joined, never entertained the idea.

My old boss was one, he was a complete fud.

Wouldn't ever consider becoming one.

My grans uncle )or something like that) was one. My gran still has all the old ceremonial badges and aprons they had to wear, plus some very expensive gifts they received. ant remember what number he was though!

The pub near my work has alot of members in as the landlord is a member, as are a couple of guys at my work.

One of their clubs is pretty much just behind my mum and dads road too!

Used to work in a hotel where these werdos held their meets when i was 15. They are so sad its untrue. All fat and drove well polished mondeos.

They were obsessed with secrecy, which we found amusing as no one gave a shit what they were talking about

I'm not clear on what the new age freemasons do, but I've been invited a few times to be a part of their little clan, although I did have a bit of a barney with someone who branded himself one once, basically one of my old neighbours was having a BBQ, one of his guests blocked my driveway, I had a polite word, no joy, so I had a nasty word after, the said guest came out shouting "You don't ever mess with a freemason", so I just dropped him infront of his little pals, nothing came of it.

But do bare in mind I was an egotistical teenager at the time and I would never do such a thing these days.

I expect they'd probably turn their hand to music production these days.

They 'look after' each other, it's like an invite only group who have regular meetings, basically if you've had sex with someone's wife, and the poor old husband is a freemason, he'll go to a meeting and name and shame you so others can take whatever action they feel they should on your behalf.

Or if your planning to invest in a local business, they might all help you out and pull in some business for you, things like that.

My dad is one.

I've been working in the local Freemason's hall this week, various crazy stuff in there. Dates wayyyyy back! Pretty interesting, but at the same time, don't think it would interest myself / other young people.

Theres quite a big number of them up here, heard stories involving goats?

Also, there was one of the members who was telling the "secrets", he was dangled off a 200 foot bridge by other members, aparently

That's a load of bollocks.

All they do is act out a play in a large hall. (They do a lot for charity)

They have various status's such as Worshipful Master, Junior Deacon, Secretary etc etc etc
