Focus? I've not had a focus for ages. Had an accord type r that I sold and we traded my gf's car in against the astra.

Jambo, yup it really is a lot of car for the money. Drives and smells like a new car still.. lol

Not got any, still to give it a decent clean. Interiors let them down a bit to be honest, a bit too mch cheap plastic. Missing the recaros from the accord aswell...

I havent looked at the spec, but if its anything like the VXR you get FUCK all standard

I specced up a VXr and it came out at like £26k

Xenons should be standard on a VXR, I'd not be happy spending that money and not having xenons.

TBH the Astra interior is a bit crap. Even in the VXR I was buying its pretty much all cheap plastic. My Golf is far better in that regard for decent materials. That 150 CDTi engine is way better than mine though

Not standard John.

*Leather
*Mettalic paint
*Xenons
*Sat nav/decent stereo
*parking sensors

blaa blaa blaa

Being top of the range youd think at least the xenons came free

Do you really need Xenons though? Nothing wrong with the normal lights imo. Half-leather is standard, parking sensors are for gays (though I admit trying to reverse in the VXR would be a nightmare)

The VXR I was looking at was 15.5k at 12 months old, fuck spec'ing one up to 26k and loosing the majority of that straight away.

Yes, normal lights a crap compared to xenons and that includes aftermarket xenons.

I managed single figures on the instant mpg bringing it home. Diesels are only good on fuel if you drive them right..

Nippy little wagons these with the tuning box on them. My mate has one and had a play in the ibiza pre tuning box and it beat me reasonably easily in straight line speed. So torquey even compared to mine, doesn't get the sam mpg though
