They problem is you'll have to do it everyday as the slightest bit of dust/hair shows up all the time.

Yip wood is terrible with a dog.
Although it's easy to clean up you see everything that comes off them so it looks filthy after 30 seconds.

Its not a case of it being easy, it is, its just you have to do it 3,4 or 5x more than carpet.

If you're asking for what reason its hard to keep clean then...with carpet dogs hairs/dust/human hairs/etc. tend to get embedded into the carpet, so it doesnt show up so much until you hoover it once a week or whatever. With laminate the hairs/dust/etc. just sit ontop off it and even if you've just hoovered it they show up right away.

Looks too low for me. TV stands etc that are much lower were great in the old days when people sat prim and proper in thier seats but not its much rare a sight.
For me might higher is perfect because I slouch. The second you slouch the TV has to go up otherwise your effectively looking your putting un-due stress on your neck. The ideal height is to have the TV so your head is straight with your upper body.

Tv stand looks shit. I would have hollowed the chimney breast out and put a purpose built hole to house the AV suff in. Wallpaper looks good though.
