The frame on the full carbon bonnets could have a black gel-coat on it. No idea why, because carbon is a bit like Burberry - people like the pretty patterns.

Wow i didnt mean to spark such a heated debate lol i want a lighter bonnet as im starting to strip the car down to make it lighter! I didnt want one that looked like carbon fibre incase any little chavs walk past it and marked it and made a very expesnive mess!

can get proper lightweight fibreglass ones without framework in etc

If you've got door bars on your roll cage then GRP doors would be a good spend. The standard ones are fucking heavy!
