rite then.... last weekend i had my first day off in months, so i had a busy day on the gsi..
1st of all i had to get my gsi engine out before 2pm for the buyer 2 come and collect
Then shoot down 2 the council garage that im renting and take the c20let engine out of the corsa-c completely
then try getting as much done as possible before it got 2 late, but managed to get the c20let trial fitted in my gsi

and also things didnt go to good
i decided to keep the turbo on whilst i lifted the engine into the car and the vacuum nipple on my forge actuator snapped so still waiting for another one off chris astley
also waiting on my 288m brake setup

only left with a little problem now,how did everyone who has done this conversion get the rad in?
seems abit tight

I think its best to make some new brackets for the rad and move it forward slightly

Nice progress btw how long until its running and on the road do you reckon?

well ive had 1 and a half days in the rain bud...
so when i get the car home 2nyt im gonna get the rad in and connect the pipes up.. make up some intercooler piping then gotta wait till friday for my actuator 2 be delivered... so hopefully by the weekend

chris astley is known for being crap with delivery, im not too sure about the fan on the front of the rad but i don't see any reason why you couldn't just get a slimline fan for the corsa and put it in front

So say it's only a circlip that I need in my gearbox, so fingers crossed I dnt have to take the engine out
