I'd guess the claim for that will be into 5 figures tbh!

But really, it shouldn't of happened in the first place. Mungos

Aye but the prank would involve what, 50mil of fluid at worst, not a fucking puddle

I can see them getting a job easily now

"So why did you leave your old job?"

To be honest I see no problem with claiming damages against someone's idiocy.

Police will be interested in that too I imagine.

to be honest, if they are good mates and they were genuinely only trying to have a wind up and were not doing it in a malicious way i would not hold it against them. They should not have done it BUT as you said taking them to the cleaners maybe a bit bad if they are mates.

Yes, depending on how you word it, police could try and charge them with attempted murder

"I was on the toilet, next minute I hear foot steps and smeel brake cleaner. All of a sudden a hand reaches under and sets it alight, leaving me with severe burns, not to mention the trauma, panic attacks I'm now having, problems walking and using the toilet un-aided. My life has been affected dramatically"

if it was my good mates and they just got carried away and made a mistake i would not claim. I would not be happy with them and i would expect them to run around for me and drive me everywhere but i would not clean them out! you sound pretty fair tbh

You'll be claiming against the company not the individuals.

I think your sense of loyalty to some "mates" who could leave you scarred for life is desperately misplaced.
